Defakto Transit Modular
The extravagant Defakto Transit Modular (40 mm x 44 mm x 9,8 mm, 58 g) was created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Defakto Watch Manufactory. The watch has won the German Design Award 2020 in the category Winner product design luxury goods. It is the most complex manufacture created by Defakto yet.
It offers unique modern aesthetics combined with high quality components such as a new in-house made 3-piece watchcase with brushed surface, a konvex sapphire crystal and a swiss made automatic movement. A sandblasted, DLC-coated top ring provides a bold graphic accent to the brushed stainless steel, drawing the focus toward the purist, convex dial. In the elaborate design process, great importance was placed on night readability. The curved hands, as well as all the indices of the matte black dial, have been covered in Switzerland with Superluminova (bgw9 and red).
The newly developed 40mm stainless steel case (316L) has a height of just 9.8mm including the domed (6.8mm excluding), anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The durable automatic Swiss movement Sellita Sw 200 / optional hand wound SW 210 conveys the time with high accuracy. These movements are also available as highly decorated Top versions. These can be observed through the engraved sapphire crystal case back. The watch offers a german made cowhide strap with fast release system. The Transit Modular can be built for right- or lefthanders on demand. The watch can be also ordered without the Defakto logo. The movement is regulated by Raphael Ickler.
