Defakto Vektor Orbit Modular
The remastered edition of the succesfull unisex Defakto Vektor series - the Vektor Orbit Modular (40 mm x 44 mm x 9,8 mm, weight 58g) offers a in-house made, 40 mm Ickler-watchcase, a scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal, clocks with the automatic Swiss movement ETA 2824-2 and is now 5 Atm waterproof. A sandblasted, DLC-coated top ring provides a bold graphic accent to the brushed stainless steel, drawing the focus toward the purist, convex dial. In addition, all three hands and indexes are covered with luminescent Superluminova (bgw9 and red).
It offers a retro-futuristic design embodied by a matt black convex dial circumnavigated by manually shaped hands. The finely drawn indexation and the thin, rounded hands with disc-like hearts make up the modern, puristic character of the Defakto Vektor Orbit. The watch builds a bridge between classical 1950s design and modern minimalist aesthetics.
Its thin, three-piece 40 mm stainless steel watchcase has a finely brushed surface to achieve a subtle interplay of surfaces and to highlight the Defakto Vektor Orbit´s flat body. It displays time via its elegant, smoothly-rotating sweeping second hand, running constantly through the curved space of the watch. The watch offers a german made cowhide strap with fast release system. The Vektor Orbit can be built for right- or lefthanders on demand. You can opt-in for a hand wound Swiss movement too and/or Top versions of the movement.
